Our remedies oft in ourselves do lie
Which we ascribe to heaven.
~William Shakespeare, All’s Well That Ends Well
I had the opportunity to see the pre-release of, “The Cure Is,” which makes its world debut on November 11th.
The film,“The Cure Is..” is a fascinating look at how our modern way of life contributes to creating illness and the ways in which we can take back control of healing ourselves of those illnesses.
Modern life is stressful. We have little down time to relax nor recover from such constant stress. It’s no wonder that there has been a steady rise in cancer rates.
Most of us live in cities or suburbs and spend very little time in nature. Our man-made environment cuts us off from our intuition, and nature and her healing rhythms.
Your intuition is an agent of healing
If we were listening to our intuition we would know that this way of life is killing us. Our body is intelligent and knows what it needs to maintain good health.
Instead of listening to our inner wisdom we stay up far too late and get little sleep – ignoring the cries of our body. We eat mountains of processed foods that are high in sodium, sugar, unhealthy fats and carbohydrates.
Our stressful lifestyle revolves around constant “busyiness” and the need to compete to be successful and productive. With such an out of balance life we look to fast foods to save time and junk foods as self-medication to deal with stress.
The stress of living at such a fast pace results in many negative emotions such as depression, anger, blame, resentment and bitterness, to name a few. We never have enough time; we are late and always running. We are in a constant state of “fight or flight,” where calm and peace elude us.
We criticize, refuse to forgive and and judge others harshly which causes strains in relationships. We are also harsh with ourselves and lack self-love. All of these emotional states impact and undermine our health.
The stress we live under and resulting negative emotions is a vicious cycle. We assume it is the normal way of living because so many of us live this way – but it isn’t. We can take back control of our lives and our health if we stop and become conscious of what we have been doing to ourselves.
When we change the way we see things our lives will change accordingly
The Cure Is…is a film that will help you to step back and become conscious of how your lifestyle and worldview impact your health. Your DNA is not destiny – you have much more power over your future and your health than you think.
YOU possess the power to change the trajectory of your health by making a shift in your thinking and how you perceive the world around you. Your miraculous body is designed to heal itself. But first, you must stop assaulting it with with negative emotions and poor lifestyle choices.
The film features notable experts, scientists, doctors and evolutionary leaders such as:
Dr. Bernie Siegel – author of: Love, Medicine and Miracles
Marianne Williamson – author of: A Return to Love
Gregg Braden – author of: The Divine Matrix
Bruce Lipton, PhD – author of: The Biology of Belief
and others.
You will be inspired to change your mental, emotional and physical habits and to tend your miraculous body with loving care.
I highly recommend the film. Check out “The Cure Is” here.

Hi Angela,
This movie looks amazing! It definitely resonates with me. I’m living proof that I conquered my lifelong battle with depression by changing my thought patterns, as well letting go toxic relationships/environments combined with yoga/meditation.
