Deepak Chopra quote on Intuition

Could you use more intuitive insight in your life?

Today I’m sharing something special with you – my first video chat about using your intuition.

I had the pleasure and honor of being interviewed by Suzie Cheel about my new book, “The Intuition Principle.” While the interview came about because of the book our conversation is really about the basics of intuition development and how to apply intuition in your daily life.

Suzie is a natural as an interviewer and her questions were seamlessly sprinkled throughout our conversation.

Here’s what we discussed:

  • Why I gave Suzie a prescription during her reading and what it led to in her life.
  • I have a section in the book called, “The Fabulousity Factor.” Everybody wants to know what that is. Find out here.
  • How the Fabulousity Factor is related to synchronicity and serendipity.
  • Why we make poor choices when we live inauthentically.
  • Two simple techniques that will help you identify and trust your intuition.
  • How developing your intuition can boost your confidence.
  • The importance of dreams in getting intuitive guidance.
  • The role meditation plays in enhancing your intuition.
  • A simple technique to descend into a deeper level of awareness.
  • Using journaling to dialogue with your higher self.
  • How to create an intuition development routine.
  • What is the Intuition Principle?
  • What is an intuitively inspired life and how can you live an intuitvely inspired life?
  • And so much more!

Tune in the video. I hope you get a lot out of it.

What questions did the video chat answer about intuition? Or what questions do you have or what still confuses about intuition? Share with us.

“A good artist lets his intuition lead him wherever it wants.” –Lao-Tzu

25 great Intuition Quotes from around the world.

25 Great Intuition QuotesToday I decided to allow my intuition to lead me to write a “quotes” post. It just felt right. This one of the main ways of recognizing your intuition. It’s you’re intuition when it “feels” right.

There is something so wonderful about a quote. When I see a quote that resonates with me it feels as if the author was writing specifically for me. And, many times the quote perfectly articulates a concept I might have struggled to put into words.

I’ve been reading and studying intuition for years and collecting quotes throughout that time. Here is a sampling of just some of the great quotes I have come across to date.

Enjoy!

“There can be as much value in the blink of an eye as in months of rational analysis.” Malcolm Gladwell

Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.” – Joseph Campbell

“Synchronicity is choreographed by a great, pervasive intelligence that lies at the heart of nature, and is manifest in each of us through intuitive knowledge.” –Deepak Chopra

“If prayer is you talking to God, then intuition is God talking to you.” –Dr. Wayne Dyer

“The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you and you don’t know how or why.” –Albert Einstein

“Close both eyes to see with the other eye.” –Rumi

“Come into the silence of solitude, and the vibration there will talk to you through the voice of God”. – Paramahansa Yogananda

The genius of the intuitive mind

“The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself.” — Alan Alda

“You must train your intuition. You must trust the small voice inside which tells you exactly what to say, what to decide.” –Ingrid Bergman

“I rely far more on gut instinct than researching huge amounts of statistics.” –Richard Branson

“Intuition is a spiritual faculty and does not explain, but simply points the way.” –-Florence Scovel Shinn

“Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone else’s.” --Billy Wilder

“Every happening, great and small, is a parable whereby God speaks to us, and the art of life is to get the message.” –Malcolm Muggeridge

“Good instincts usually tell you what to do long before your head has figured it out.” --Michael Burke

“Listen to your intuition. It will tell you everything you need to know.” -Anthony J. D’Angelo

“Trust yourself. You know more than you think you do.” –-Benjamin Spock

“Intuition will tell the thinking mind where to look next.” –-Jonas Salk

Follow your instincts. That’s where true wisdom manifests itself. -Oprah Winfrey

Intuition is the supra-logic that cuts out all the routine processes of thought and leaps straight from the problem to the answer. Robert Graves

“Truly successful decision making relies on a balance between deliberate and instinctive thinking.” –Malcolm Gladwell

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” –-Albert Einstein

Intuition: How To Know If You’re Getting a Sign

Posted 31 Mar 2012 — by Angela Artemis
Category How to recognize intuition, Intuition, Intuitive Insight

Do not assume that divine guidance flows only when you are in need of help.  Guidance continues to flow whether or not you have problems.  It transcends problems, heartbreaks, and traumas, flowing through dreams and illuminations…. Whether guidance comes during times of tranquility or trauma, however, it is up to you to have the courage to acknowledge it…. –Caroline Myss

Would you know if you were getting a sign?

Seeing the signsDid you know that you don’t have to be intuitive to receive guidance. Yes, you read that right.

One of the ways that we can receive guidance is by simply becoming aware of the signs that are always around us. And, you can even ask for signs to show you the way. I’ve written extensively about this technique in my book, “Navigating by Intuition: How to Follow The Signs.”

If you read, “Navigating by Intuition,” you’ll remember that after asking for guidance I received a gold coin that manifested itself out of thin air. Now that’s a sign! Read More

“Eye of newt, and toe of frog, Wool of bat, and tongue of dog, Adder’s fork, and blind-worm’s sting, Lizard’s leg, and howlet’s wing,– For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.” –William Shakespeare  from “Macbeth”

There are penalties for ignoring your intuition.

Okay, I’m no “witch” like the witches in Shakespeare’s Macbeth – I’m just a financial salesperson with a highly developed sense of intuition but, I should have known better…..

One year ago, I spent a week at a writer’s retreat completing my book, “The Intuition Principle: How to Attract the Life You Dream Of.”

After many delays and mishaps, the physical book is finally available for purchase. I’m still waiting for the digital formatting because now the company handling this has “disappeared” so that means no Kindle/Nook/iPad book just yet.  I hope to have this rectified in the next two weeks.

While I loved the writing the book, the self-publishing program didn’t meet my expectations.

And yes, I did hear that “little voice” warning me to be wary but, I chose to ignore it. Read More

Who is More Intuitive Men or Women?

Why is it that every intuitive development class I’ve taken has been filled with more women than men?

Are women more intuitive than men?If you were to do a search on the Internet for intuitives you would find that women far outnumber males in this field.

Are women truly more intuitive than men  or, could it have to do with the way women are socialized to empathize with others? Or could there be more of a physiological reason?

Based on some recent research findings, women possess more of the biological functions necessary for being more attuned to the subtle cues of intuition.

Nature versus nurture

A vital ability that is needed when you’re developing intuitively is being able to observe subtle changes in the way things look, or appear. Women pick up on these subtle changes far more often than males. A woman may be able to tell from registering these subtle changes in a person’s face what emotions the person is experiencing. This is a practical and necessary skill when gathering intuitive information. Read More

Wishing You Happiness, Health and Heart-centered Wisdom

Category Developing Intuition, Spiritual Growth

Wishing you happiness, health and heart-centered wisdom.

May you be happy with your life.

May you experience glorious good health.

May you be guided by the heart-centered wisdom of your intuition to live up to your full potential.

This is my wish for you this coming new year.

happiness, health, intuition, heart-centered wisdomYou are a spiritual being who has chosen to live within a physical body at this time. You are so much more than the physical eye can see. It may appear that you are separate from the source of your true spiritual essence while you are in physical form but, that is only an illusion.

You have a direct link to spiritual guidance and wisdom

You can contact your true spiritual source, wisdom and higher intelligence at any time. You came here with a built-in connection to it. That connection is the heart-centered wisdom called your intuition. Whenever you need guidance about any decision in your life all you need to do is listen to that small still voice within and it will direct you to the answers you seek.

You are not alone

The voice of your intuition is always calling to you, always offering its guidance to you and always there when you need comfort and clarity. It will never force itself upon you though. You need to be open to it and invite it in and ask it to speak loudly. Until you do this you will live the illusion that you are here alone and feel alone.

Heart-centered wisdom will never steer you wrong Read More

How can I tell if I’m hearing my Intuition or my Ego?

This is by far, the subject of most of the emails I receive from Powered by Intuition readers.

I’m sorry to say, there is no magical solution to know whether you’re hearing your Intuition or your Ego. There is PRACTICE though. And, as we’ve all heard thousands of times, practice makes perfect.

Luckily, we human beings face problems every day that provide opportunities to practice discerning the voice of our Intuition from our Egos.

The basis of this problem though, is not so much that we can’t discern the voice of our Intuition from our Ego but, that we fear making a wrong decision!

Here are some simple tips to distinguish the difference. Read More
