“Eye of newt, and toe of frog, Wool of bat, and tongue of dog, Adder’s fork, and blind-worm’s sting, Lizard’s leg, and howlet’s wing,– For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.” –William Shakespeare  from “Macbeth”

There are penalties for ignoring your intuition.

Okay, I’m no “witch” like the witches in Shakespeare’s Macbeth – I’m just a financial salesperson with a highly developed sense of intuition but, I should have known better…..

One year ago, I spent a week at a writer’s retreat completing my book, “The Intuition Principle: How to Attract the Life You Dream Of.”

After many delays and mishaps, the physical book is finally available for purchase. I’m still waiting for the digital formatting because now the company handling this has “disappeared” so that means no Kindle/Nook/iPad book just yet.  I hope to have this rectified in the next two weeks.

While I loved the writing the book, the self-publishing program didn’t meet my expectations.

And yes, I did hear that “little voice” warning me to be wary but, I chose to ignore it. Read More

Who is More Intuitive Men or Women?

Posted 01 Mar 2012 — by Angela Artemis
Category Developing Intuition

Why is it that every intuitive development class I’ve taken has been filled with more women than men?

Are women more intuitive than men?If you were to do a search on the Internet for intuitives you would find that women far outnumber males in this field.

Are women truly more intuitive than men  or, could it have to do with the way women are socialized to empathize with others? Or could there be more of a physiological reason?

Based on some recent research findings, women possess more of the biological functions necessary for being more attuned to the subtle cues of intuition.

Nature versus nurture

A vital ability that is needed when you’re developing intuitively is being able to observe subtle changes in the way things look, or appear. Women pick up on these subtle changes far more often than males. A woman may be able to tell from registering these subtle changes in a person’s face what emotions the person is experiencing. This is a practical and necessary skill when gathering intuitive information. Read More

Developing Intuition, Identifying Intuition and Getting Unstuck too!

Posted 30 Jan 2012 — by Angela Artemis
Category Answering Readers Questions, Developing Intuition, Intuitive Training

Knowledge has three degrees — opinion, science, illumination. The means or instrument of the first is sense; of the second, dialectic; of the third, intuition. –Plotinus

Questions on intuition developmentToday, I am sharing three brilliant questions on intuition development from readers.

Even if you don’t see your exact intuition development question here you’re sure to find an answer that will apply to your own situation.

1. My life feels stuck. I need change now but, nothing seems to be happening. How can I get guidance from my intuition as to what to do to  get my life moving again?

If you’re life is ‘stuck” and you feel you “need” answers now the best thing to do is to relax as much as possible about it.

The more stressed out and emotional you are over a problem the more difficult you make hearing your inner guidance.

The solution will come when you relax and take your mind off the problem.
Go for walks in nature or do anything that takes your mind off the feeling of being stuck.

Before you go to bed tell yourself that you want an answer to this problem.

Give yourself one week to either have a dream in which the answer comes to you or to discover the solution during the day through a “sign.” Read “Navigating by Intuition” to learn how to identify these hidden signposts. Read More

Save Time and Money: Develop Your Business Intuition

Often you have to rely on intuition. –Bill Gates

You can save time and money by developing your business intuition.

When we are able to use our creative problem solving skills on command we save both money and time.

Malcom Gladwell, the author of “Outliers” found that we become masters in our vocation once we have done it for at least 10,000. The time spent doing and learning and encountering many different situations becomes our “experience” bank that we can later draw upon.

After putting in this much time on one pursuit we develop a highly trained sense of what needs to be done in many situations because of our past experience. We solve problems more quickly when we encounter new situations because we can draw upon this past experience. We take from each of them what is applicable in the current scenario and apply it to come up with a new creative solution to the problem. Read More

How to Make Your Flame Burn Brighter This Year

We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us. –Joseph Campbell

How to make your flame burn brighter this year

Goal free living, follow your intuition. follow your blissNew Year’s Day is when we start thinking of how we’d like our lives to be in the coming year.

We review our accomplishments and make resolutions.

Most resolutions don’t last very long

Studies show that most resolutions don’t last past the month of January. More than 77 percent of people who say they want to lose weight never do.

Why do we keep making resolutions?

We believe if we don’t set these goals we won’t accomplish anything at all.

This is what I’ve always believed about myself too. I’ve always been afraid I’d be a lazy do-nothing without goals to aspire too.

Changing the game plan

Leo Babauta has written extensively about not setting goals and going “goal-free.” As proponent of “following your intuition,” what some people might call their “bliss,” this appeals to me a great deal. I’ve just been too scared to do commit to it. Read More

Wishing You Happiness, Health and Heart-centered Wisdom

Category Developing Intuition, Spiritual Growth

Wishing you happiness, health and heart-centered wisdom.

May you be happy with your life.

May you experience glorious good health.

May you be guided by the heart-centered wisdom of your intuition to live up to your full potential.

This is my wish for you this coming new year.

happiness, health, intuition, heart-centered wisdomYou are a spiritual being who has chosen to live within a physical body at this time. You are so much more than the physical eye can see. It may appear that you are separate from the source of your true spiritual essence while you are in physical form but, that is only an illusion.

You have a direct link to spiritual guidance and wisdom

You can contact your true spiritual source, wisdom and higher intelligence at any time. You came here with a built-in connection to it. That connection is the heart-centered wisdom called your intuition. Whenever you need guidance about any decision in your life all you need to do is listen to that small still voice within and it will direct you to the answers you seek.

You are not alone

The voice of your intuition is always calling to you, always offering its guidance to you and always there when you need comfort and clarity. It will never force itself upon you though. You need to be open to it and invite it in and ask it to speak loudly. Until you do this you will live the illusion that you are here alone and feel alone.

Heart-centered wisdom will never steer you wrong Read More
